From a landscape and naturalistic point of view, it is a mountainous area rich in spring waters, rare and endemic plants, woods and clearings in which rare specimens of wildlife live. In the central part of the mountain massif, the presence of fossils found and the carboniferous nature of the rock are evidence of its ancient origins. Thanks to these characteristics, the Madonie can be crossed from the inside by paths made of caves, meats and cavities, following the water ways and admiring the natural architectures produced by it.
